Apple seeks to improve the mobile gaming experience with a unique subscription service.

Apple recently announced it’s Apple Arcade, the world’s first monthly game subscription service for mobile, desktop and the living room. It will reportedly give subscribers unlimited access to a selection of paid titles on the App Store.

The mobile games subscription service will include over 100 games.

Apple Arcade will have more than 100 new and exclusive games, with new games being added all the time. Some of these original new releases will come from renowned game creators like Ken Wong, Hironobu Sakaguchi, Will Wright and many more.

“We’re not just curating, we’re backing their development,” said Ann Thai, a senior product manager for the App Store, during the recent Apple event at the company’s headquarters in California, at which the subscription service was announced.

“You won’t find these games on any other mobile platform or any other subscription service,” Thai added, reports CNET.

The Apple upcoming subscription gaming service will provide customers with the freedom to try any game from the arcade’s collection of titles. Better still, not only will users be able to play as many of these games as much as they like, but the games will also be free of ads, tracking, additional purchases and will respect user privacy.

Apple has also said that all games will be playable offline and all future game updates and DLC (downloadable content) would be included at no additional cost.

Apple Arcade will be launched in 150 countries in fall of 2019.

The subscription-based monthly mobile service aims to give subscribers unlimited access to games on mobile (iPhones and iPads), desktop (MacOS) and Apple TV. Users can play games on any of the platforms and conveniently transfer their progress from one to the other. They will not operate independently of one another.

In other words, you can move from playing a game on your phone to your laptop or TV or vice versa.
