This new business device has been designed to make it easier to share content with other smart devices.
Epson has now announced the launch of a new portable business projector device that has been designed with connectivity through QR codes that will enhance the ability to provide an experience that crosses over to many different devices.
The quick response codes make it possible to share content and collaborate nearly instantaneously.
With these QR codes as a part of the Epson portable projector, collaboration and sharing is simplified regardless of where the presentation is being made and who is present. The content can be brought to or from the smart devices of those in attendance virtually instantly. According to the Epson UK product manager, Chris Goff, “The iProjection QR code connection makes it easy for anyone with a smartphone or tablet to link to theEB-W28. Once the Epson iProjection app has been downloaded to a smart device,it’s just a matter of scanning a QR code that’s projected by the EB-W28.”
The QR codes provide an entirely new experience and capability by way of this type of device.
The EB-W28 also features an HDMI input which is designed to be MHL ready. This makes It possible for even greater connectivity with smart devices by way of a cable with the projector and a smartphone or tablet, for example.
Additional features of this portable projector include vertical and horizontal keystone correction, functionality in split screen, in addition to optical zoom. The resolution is WXGA, with a contrast ratio of 10,000: 1. The brightness of this mobile device is 3,000 lumens.
This Epson device has been created primarily with small corporate offices and small businesses premises in mind and is joining a growing number of different gadgets that are becoming compatible with QR codes for a range of different purposes. This has added yet another example in which these smartphone friendly barcodes are making it possible to make a difference in areas other than marketing and how they can make it easier to share information with smart devices in a way that is cost effective.
