BlackBerry sells legacy smartphone business patents for $600M

The company has announced that it has agreed to sell “substantially all” of those patents. BlackBerry Ltd. recently announced that it has agreed to sell “substantially all” its smartphone business patents, for a total of USD$600 million. The Canadian company recently announced that it was shutting down all support for its phones.
