Mobile health technology could help patients to be able to reduce their risks of cardiovascular illness. A new statement released by the American Heart Association (AHA), which was published in the Circulation journal has shown that mhealth technologies may be able to help to enhance the prevention of cardiovascular disease (CVD). The National Institutes of Health are now hoping to boost research and tools geared toward improved communication. A pair of grants is now being offered by the National Institutes of Health in order to help to encourage research and creation of mhealth tools that will help to improve the communication between patients and their medical providers.
