QR codes have made their way to Crow Wing County in Minnesota, where they are being used on local hiking trails. The codes are being used by county officials who are looking for feedback from hikers as well as others throughout the area. Locked-out union workers use QR codes to gain public support for their cause
More than 1,300 employees of American Crystal Sugar Co. have been locked out of factories in three states following failed negations between union leaders and corporate executives early last month. Now, over a month after the lock-out, workers are launching a new campaign to get the public on their side.
