New mobile app privacy guidelines released for comment by the Mobile Marketing Association

The head trade association for the mobile industry worldwide, the Mobile Marketing Association, has announced that it has released a document called the “MMA Mobile Application Privacy Policy” , for public comment. It contains the first-ever set of guidelines for the basic data processes and privacy issues pertaining to mobile apps. Facebook and eBay announce partnership for e-commerce

Board member at eBay and executive at Facebook, Katie Mitic, announced a partnership between those two organizations, which was created in order to form a new series of e-commerce apps with features for social networking. Walmart, the largest retail chain in the world, formed its tech shop, @WalmartLabs, last year and is now preparing to release its first apps that focus on mobile commerce and social shopping.
