The Nokia Lumia 730 is to be the next smartphone from the brand and as Microsoft prepares for its unveiling, it has already been nicknamed the “selfie phone” because the company has now incorporated a 5MP secondary camera that is designed specifically for people who love to take self shots.
It is expected that this new mobile device will have its specs officially revealed for the first time on September 4.
That said, as much as the official launch is going to bring the Nokia Lumia 730 specs into the spotlight for the first time, there have already been some details that have been leaked online ahead of that date. At the moment, it’s believed that the mobile device has a 4.7 inch HD display (720×1280 pixel) and its processor is a Snapdragon 400, with 1GB of RAM. The device also features dual-SIM support and it is enabled with 4G LTE.
There have also been a range of other specs that have been released for the Nokia Lumia 730.
Also supported by this upcoming smartphone is nano-SIM, and it has an external slot for an SD card, allowing the memory to be expanded. When it comes to the camera – the most greatly hyped feature of this mobile device – this smartphone offers a 20MP Carl Zeiss pure view primary camera, as well as a secondary lens of 5MP. This could make it the ideal cell phone for people who love to take selfies.
Among the standard features of this device include both 2G and 3G connectivity, but it also has Bluetooth and NFC technology support, and an FM radio. If all of these speculations about this device are true, then it looks as though the next Nokia to come from Microsoft will truly be a smartphone worth having.
That said, none of these reports have been officially authenticated and they are based only on information that is claimed to have been leaked. It won’t be until the official unveiling that any of these claims are confirmed.
