A massive leak has suggested that the Galaxy S5 will outshine the iPhone 6.
There are two massive lines of smartphones that will be launched this year that are the most greatly anticipated mobile devices of 2014, and they are going to be produced by Apple and by Samsung.
These gadgets are going to define the direction of technology this year and moving forward.
The first of these two lines of mobile devices is the iPhone 6, which will, of course, be released by Apple. According to the latest leaks and rumors, it will have a larger display than the current versions of the device. It will be launched alongside another, phablet sized smartphone. At the same time, though, this will be competing directly with the lineup of Samsung Galaxy S5 gadgets.
The rumors and leaks about the Galaxy S5 show that these mobile devices will potentially be unmatched.
There have been tremendous waves of rumors surrounding the Galaxy 5S smartphones and while many of them align very well, others appear to be quite contradictory. Therefore, just as it is impossible to know exactly how each new iPhone will appear, the same can be said about the next Samsung smartphones. That said, even the contradictory leaks could end up panning out, depending on the way in which they have been implemented.
It is being predicted that the next Galaxy models of Samsung smartphones will be headed to launch in March or April of this year.
In a recent note that was issued to clients, KDB Daewoo Securities, a South Korean brokerage company, described at least one of the models of the Galaxy S5 line. That firm has a history of providing accurate advance information regarding devices that have been unannounced, before they are unveiled. In their most recent note, the company’s analysts claim to have information regarding both the upcoming iPhone 6 from Apple (and its larger screened cousin) and of the Galaxy S5’s flagship model.
On paper, from the descriptions that were provided, it looks as though Samsung’s mobile devices will be dramatically outshining their Apple counterparts. According to the KDB details, the Galaxy S5 will have either an octa-core 64 bit Exynos SoC at 2GHz or a 2.5 GHz quad-core Snapdragon chipset. It is likely that the processor will be different based on model and region, as has been the case in the past. It will also have 3GB of RAM, a 5.2 or 5.25 inch AMOLED display, which will have WQHD resolution, a 16 megapixel rear camera, a 3.2 megapixel front facing camera, storage options of 32GB/64GB/128GB, and a tremendous battery of 3,200 mAh. Its case will be all metal.
