A new smartphone app has now been launched across the United States that includes an ordering solution.
The leading provider of mobile commerce solutions to large merchants, CARDFREE, has now announced that it is now the app platform provider behind the newest smartphone based offerings for Taco Bell, which were launched across the country, last week.
The fast food chain selected the company in order to provide an m-commerce ordering solution, among other things.
Taco Bell selected CARDFREE for its mobile commerce app that allows consumers to make orders, but also to provide multichannel CRM solutions. According to the chief information officer at the restaurant chain, Greg Fancher, “We are excited to bring our ground breaking mobile application to life.” He added that “We needed the right mobile platform partner to help us create a mobile application that not only provides an extraordinary experience for our audience but is also best in class technologically.”

The company’s platform offers a range of capabilities throughout the complete customer life cycle. These include: order-ahead, gifting, smart offers, payments store value, and loyalty, as well as rich data analytics. The design of the platform is meant specifically for deployments on a large scale. The platform has already managed to become the option of choice for many of the top 50 quick service restaurants in the U.S., and is aiming to take steps into additional verticals. These include convenience stores and supermarkets.
The CEO of CARDFREE, Jon Squire, spoke about the m-commerce partnership between the two companies, pointing out that Taco Bell is not only a giant within its sector in the United States, but it is “one of the savviest marketers out there.” He added that his company is “extremely proud” to be working in a partnership with them in what he feels will be a critical evolution within the industry.
