Visa has entered into a partnership with the NFL for a mobile initiative that will give consumers the opportunity to win a trip to the Super Bowl.

This is the third year that Visa will be sponsoring Sports Fantasy Football through Yahoo, which is aimed at sports fans. This will include 10 top prizes of trips to Super Bowl XLVI, which can be won by consumers who have used their Visa cards during the contest period.

According to the Visa Inc. head of North America marketing, Alex Craddock, from Los Angeles, “What we’ve observed of NFL fan behavior – and of sporting fans, more generally speaking – is that they are extremely connected socially throughout the season.”

He explained that these fans want to take part in the NFL experience in several different fashions, such as game viewing parties, fantasy leagues, and sharing over social media. Frequently, these experiences are enhanced through the use of their mobile devices.

Consumers who have used their Visa cards before December 27 will be automatically entered into the sweepstakes by Visa. This will give them the chance to win a trip for 11 people to attend the Indianapolis Super Bowl XLVI.

The top prize consists of Super Bowl game tickets, hotel accommodations, airfare, a Visa gift card, and access to events such as a party and a meal with a player that are NFL-sponsored and offered exclusively to the winners.

Moreover, as Visa has also partnered with Yahoo for this sweepstakes, it indicates the commitment of the company to connect with individuals on every platform, particularly sports fans.
