Researchers in Australia have determined that COVID-19 can stay viable on surfaces such as glass or even money for up to 28 days, sending UVC light sanitizer sales through the roof.

According to the research, which was published in the Virology Journal on October 7, 2020, “SARS-CoV-2 can remain infectious for significantly longer time periods than generally considered possible.
