Starbucks has announced its partnership with Scanbuy; an alliance that has been formed in the hopes of moving forward with a mobile campaign initiative that will make the coffee company an important player in the mobile universe. Vice president of marketing, David Javitch, of the New York-based Scanbuy said that Starbucks is utilizing a print that is more like conventional media and outdoor marketing in order to “drive downloads of their mobile app, and the QR Code is a great way for smartphone users to get it in one click.”…
