Massachusetts-based Nellymoser, a mobile technology and marketing firm, has announced that it quadrupled its growth in 2011 through the use of its mobile marketing campaign that included QR codes. The number of action code and QR code based mobile marketing campaigns increased from fewer than 100 two years ago, to over 400 last year. Top women’s active lifestyle magazine, SHAPE, has announced the massive success of its mobile sweepstakes that used 2D barcodes… such as QR codes, and Microsoft Tags – which broke previous records of the use of the technology, with almost 400,000 scans.
