A recent update to the Global Growth in Barcode Usage shows that the frequency of use for barcodes has risen by 126% over a two month period. The report shows strong growth in Norway, with growth ranking in at 87%. Sweden has experienced a 65% increase in use. The Groton Town Library of Connecticut will be using QR codes as a way to connect with residents and collect responses to surveys they will be conducting regarding the library’s services and materials. The goal of the survey is to find out whether or not the library is living up to the community’s expectations and providing what they need.
