Users of phones without NFC technology will now be able to use the app to complete purchases. Google Wallet has announced that it will be letting users without near field communication (NFC) technology-enabled phones to use QR code scans to make payments instead. A recent survey shows that consumers have a greater awareness of the tech and are satisfied by it. A new study conducted by ABI Research has shown that consumers are considerably more familiar with NFC technology, and they are more satisfied with it as well.
