Massachusetts-based Nellymoser, a mobile technology and marketing firm, has announced that it quadrupled its growth in 2011 through the use of its mobile marketing campaign that included QR codes. The number of action code and QR code based mobile marketing campaigns increased from fewer than 100 two years ago, to over 400 last year. Furthermore, Nellymoser held the lead within its sector as 3 out of every 5 of the top 50 magazines (based on circulation) included its marketing campaigns in 2011. Location-based promotion helps Dunkin’ Donut boosts their mobile presence
Though Dunkin’ Donuts is already a part of the mobile marketplace, it has announced that it is now boosting its presence there by way of a new campaign that gives its customers the chance to win prizes and the title of “President of Dunkin’ Nation” by checking in at participating locations.
