Teens from Sacred Heart School in Swaffham have placed quick response codes around their town. Students from the Swaffham Sacred Heart School have used QR codes to provide visitors to the Town Trail with access to video recordings that offer more information about the historical site that they are facing. The team have worked together to use quick response codes and smartphone tech to improve interactivity. Quick response codes have been added to panels near certain gravesites to provide more information than names and dates. The Central Cemetery in Aschersleben, a town in the Saxony-Anhalt district of Salzlandkreis, in Germany, has decided to add QR codes to small signs throughout the historic site in order to give smartphone users the opportunity to learn more about the deceased who are buried there.
