The Beverly Hills location of the Four Seasons Hotel in Los Angeles has now finished the installation of 285 iPad tablet computer devices within its suites and rooms and is already noting their popularity among their guests.

The hotel has had over 1,200 guests use their in-room tablets in order to research local events and attractions, make appointments at the hotel spa, or even order room service. The hotel boasts that it is the first one on the West Coast to offer this type of Interactive Customer Experience technology powered by Intel in the in-room mobile devices.

Four Seasons Hotel Los Angeles at Beverly Hills director of public relations, Kim Kessler, explained that “We want to offer cutting-edge technology to our guests and truly believe in the ICE technology with iPad 2 devices.”

She added that while this is a significant investment, the guests of the hotel are quite “savvy” and the Four Seasons believes that offering the in-room iPads provides them with a valuable addition that complements the recent renovation of the hotel that cost $35 million.

Guests of the hotel can use the mobile devices for a number of different convenient services, such as making dinner reservations, ordering room service, or scheduling spa appointments within the hotel. Moreover, they can be used to make requests from housekeeping, such as to order additional pillows or towels.

Transportation services to the airport, and valet parking can also be arranged by way of the in-room mobile devices and their ICE technology.
