My Size is gearing up to show off its unique MySizeId app.
The Israel-based developer and creator of the mobile measurement technology, My Size Inc., has announced it will be demonstrating its innovative smartphone apparel sizing app at the Curvey Con in New York City, a premier plus-size event, taking place during New York Fashion Week in September.
The innovative technology could help boost the sales of apparel retailers.
The company believes that its MySizeId app, designed for accurate and personalized apparel sizing, can increase the sales of apparel retail. My Size is confident that its mobile measurement technology can decrease or even eliminate the uncertainties of retailer’s customers who often worry about the size and fit of the apparel item they want to buy.
The company estimates that its app can boost average order values by an estimated 20%. What’s more, it also believes it can address the industry’s over $60 billion return problem by reducing return rates by as much as 30%. Additionally, by helping to enhance customer experience, this can lead to increased brand loyalty.
Using the mobile measurement technology, consumers can measure themselves via their smartphones.
A turnkey solution, the MySizeId app assists any merchant’s customers pick the appropriate apparel size for that specific brand, based on the customer’s real measurements. Consumers can measure themselves via MySizeId using their smartphone and then match with a brand-specific apparel item in their true size.
The proprietary technology is reportedly driven by multiple algorithms that are capable of calculating and recording measurements in various novel ways.
