Testing QR codes for proper linkage

Color Card Administrator, a provider of digital and print business card solutions, has announced that they will be taking part in a new, nationwide test. The test will determine the accuracy of mobile QR reading applications available to iPhone, Android, Nokia and Blackberry smart phones and mobile devices. While the applications can scan codes with little difficulty, there have been issues regarding the codes ability to track the scans from certain applications, leading to gaps in marketing data. Journalist finds away around censorship

As civil unrest continues in the Middle East, there is a staggering amount of information that is not getting reported thanks to the totalitarian regimes that have been persecuting journalists in the region. To combat this, Reporters Without Borders, a non-profit organization that defends the freedom of information, is making use of QR codes in a new marketing campaign to raise awareness of civil unrest in the Middle East.
