Aurasma, world leaders in augmented reality technology, are planning a strong showing for this year’s Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas, Nevada. The technology developer has announced the launch of a new 3D engine for its flagship AR platform of the same name. The new engine will allow users to superimpose hundreds of 3D animations on their physical surroundings with the help of the Aurasma mobile application. The aim is to make augmented reality much more interactive by giving users more ability to blur the lines between the physical and digital worlds.
The Consumer Electronics Show will bring some of the most innovative technology developers from all over the world to Las Vegas. Many will have the chance to show off new developments and vie for the attention of the consumers attending the event. Augmented reality is expected to have a significant presence at the event this year, as more developers focus on the technology. Augmented reality has proven so alluring to developers and consumers because of its dynamic aspects and ability to engage people in a powerful way.
Aurasma hopes to further its lead in the augmented reality field by showing off the capabilities of its new 3D engine. Attendees will be invited to try out the new technology and share their creations on social networking platforms like Facebook and Twitter.
